What started off as a pump replacement turned into part of frame getting replaced as they noticed that something looked off about the bike.   • "I had a recall for my 2017 Limited for a clutch issue. I understand that this is a large recall and Harley was trying to get out the parts as fast as they can. Earl told me that he would call me at the next available time to get my bike taken care of. Earl was true to his word and made sure I was not forgotten. He called me yesterday and said he had an opening for me and it would only take about an hour. He was right on the money. Chris, the service tech replaced the clutch parts in a timely fashion and test drove the bike. He even talked to me after the ride to make sure I did not have any questions. Thank you for doing a great job and taking care of my bike. I have had several services done at this dealership including upgrading the exhaust and having to retune my bike. Each time, they have been very professional and have done a quality job. Thanks for the opportunity to express my views."

  • "I would like to say that my experience at Lynchburg H-D was absolutely superb, way above the call of duty! I was broken down on Rt29, 10mi S of town when I called for a tow. Marcus arrived within 15min and his upbeat, encouraging comments about getting me back on the road were comforting to a forlorn traveler, a long way from home. We chatted about local history, including nearby Appomatox and my stress gave way to his confidence and enthusiasm. Arriving at the Service Dep't, I was greeted by Brian ("Boo") and Kiefer, who, again, assured me my bike would be taken care of and Lee rolled her in for a look-see. I was shown to the lounge and coffee and settled in to ESPN. Shortly, word came that it was a more serious job, Lee showed me the damage done by the faultily installed clutch. He gave me several options, depending on either stop-gap or extensive I was willing to make the repairs. I opted for the latter and Boo gave me a detailed estimate of the parts and cost. Marcus was dispatched to Roanoke and other parts were overnighted. Julie, in Accessories was very helpful in researching hotels with eateries nearby. Marcus drove me to the Fairfield Inn (with a Chili's next door). BTW, he is an upstanding fellow and a great representative of your dealership. Next day, I got a call that the parts were in and work was underway to get me on the road that afternoon. Wow, that's customer service! Around 4pm, Marcus picked me up and I was thrilled to see Lee take her out for a final test ride. He had bagged up the burned out parts to show the local mechanic and offered to box up and ship the damaged assembly, if needed. In summary, your people gave me their all and their eagerness to get me going left a lasting impression of dedication and professionalism rarely seen these days. Hats off to Lynchburg H-D! I am looking forward to returning to Lynchburg some day solely due to the outstanding treatment I got from you! Best regards, JT"
